It depends on what you want. If you want it online 24/7 you could just place it in the code to make it look like any other user

If you don't want it online 24/7 you probably need a mod, ask in the mod request forum.

Yes, even high speed internet cable connections do not have very fast upstream connection unless you have a specialised connection.

it may be a bandwidth problem, by the simple ip address you are using to acces your forum, i am guessing it is run on your local machine (correct me if i am wrong)

Because of this you might not have enough bandwidth for more than a few users on at one time.

im not sure whether or not you will be able to edit in dreamweaver i personally don't use it, i use simple text editor called Winsyntax.

This code will put the following down if you are not looged in:

Login

With a link to login.php and if you are logged in with username 'test' it would say:

Welcome test Logout.

If you want to have boxes to login embedded in a page, you would have to look in login.php.

forget about the install.php on the end, put in all the data, username password, the blank database that you talked abouts name.
