edit the $dbpasswd = "123";

if you haven't changed your database password it should be black so change it to
$dbpasswd = "";

one good place to check out is the phpBBhacks tutorial page, that has a few things about website interigation. Also use the search function ^ up there to find other information.

im not sure about this but could you set your database password as a encrypted string of the password in config.php, and get phpbb to encrypt it?

i think if you define the variable $cheese in another php file and include it in the index page you should be able to call $cheese from within the index page, im not sure, but its worth a try.

unfortunately aol has a real time of getting on to phpbb, something about their ip, probably tell em to get a isp that works, lol.

you have to put it in a new folder in the admin/mods directory (ie admin/mods/mymod) with the intall text file at the root of the new folder (ie admin/mods/mymod/install.txt).

i don't know, but would it be at all possible to use sessions in the easymod control panel as i find it annoying having to log into each bit. :?:

you shouldn't delete the subsilver directory before you fully sort out the other one, i would advise keeping it on all the time.

anyway put the subsilver files back on, login goto admin panel -> styles Admin -> add style and click on install next to the style
