Subquery help needed

I'm a bit lost with the multiple tables involved. These select statements work individually, but what I want to achieve is something like: SELECT all users from SELECT * FROM phpbb_users, phpbb_user_group WHERE phpbb_users.user_id=phpbb_user_group.user_id AND phpbb_user_group.group_id='233' Who are ...

session_pagestart Question

I'm creating new pages for my phpbb based website and I want to track where the visitors are. Right now it always says they are on the FAQ page because I've just copied this: // // Start session management // $userdata = session_pagestart($user_ip, PAGE_FAQ); init_userprefs($userdata); // // End ses...

Usergroup Priorities in Queries

http://www.ozclan.com/forums/ozmembers.php This is basically 5 separate queries based on the member's Usergroup. The problem is that if the user is in more than 1 group, they will show up in each group; and in this case I don’t want that. Also, I (Hellweed) am the moderator in several groups but I s...

Admin and HTML

Is there a way to allow only the Admin user level to use HTML in their posts? Or will that call for a Mod? I really just need to have the ability to use HTML in only 1 category or 1 forum that only the Admins can see. Would that be possible?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

I made a 2nd index page, "index2.php", to view the hidden catagory. // // Start page proper // $sql = "SELECT c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order FROM " . CATEGORIES_TABLE . " c WHERE c.cat_id = '6' ORDER BY c.cat_order"; When I goto the new page, it thinks im not logged in, even though I know I am. ...

index.php

I’m trying to exclude 1 specific category on the index.php so I edited the $sql statement, but it didn’t pull any results at all. The page loaded fine with no errors, but it didn’t show any categories at all. Original // // Start page proper // $sql = "SELECT c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order FROM ...

BBCode to HTML. (again)

I’ve spent some time searching the forum for this but I couldn’t quite solve my problem. Basically I’m recreating a viewprofile.php from scratch that includes the user_sig, but I’m having trouble converting the BBCode to HTML. I’ve looked at the viewtopic.php as an example and found the preg_replace...
