Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

Oh, I see... thanks novanilla. [...] Look in chat_body.html find "shouts" you will see the .css stuff... Im still messing with it myself. The first 1-10 pages, about, are pretty helpful too. That's the file. Sorry for not mentioning it. Here's my question: /*****************************************...

Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

IE in general (both IE 6 and IE 7) seem to lock up pretty badly for a number of my forum members. Seems when there's a lot of activity, like several people posting at once, the browser freezes. Opening a brand new browser to the site seamlessly resumes everything, but that's a pain in the butt. I ha...

Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

The right side box that displays the member name shows up at the bottom of the shoutbox in IE.... is there a fix for that? :? IE seems to soft-carriage return the online list when there's not enough space allocated. I had the same problem, and I reduced the size of the "shout" portion by 1% - I had...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

OMG... that there's funny.

Easiest way (I would think) to deal with that is to just ftp a replacement image into the attachments folder. Then you should be able to fix things by just refreshing the screen.

Temporary fix, but easier than mucking with the database.

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

YeeP, it sounds suspiciously like the same issue I was having about a week ago. I swear I had done everything, eighteen times! But...... I KNEW there weren't any dupicate entries in the SQL tables, and having turned every other stone so many times, I decided to have a look at the tables anyway. Ther...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

Okay, I've figured out a way to make this work... Previously, I was under the impression that we could create a Category for the Calendar Module(s), which would be a parent tab for both "settings" and "event types". In my case - wrong assumption - I am allowed to make "Calendar" a parent tab in the ...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

Again, I didn't see anything with this mod that would make the upgrade between 301 and 302 extra difficult ;) Since you had problems with multiple entries in the acl_options table, now that you've cleaned those up, have you gone back into the ACP to give yourself administrator permissions for the c...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

Any link to visit your board/calendar? Sorry Rosdi - this is my first time on today... http://www.nova-nilla.com/Members/phpBB3 As a guest, you'll see just what we want you to see - very little. ;) My members are happy. I do want to say that I had many of the issues I've seen with others here... Wh...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

The idea is to disable the calendar entirely when member is not login. I will try to add the code in overall_header.html I finally got the board working and my members love it... I also disabled the calendar-mode on the index in favor of the event list (next five events, on our site), which I like ...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

Like I said, I'm retarded. Looked for two days, and finally decided to open the install.xml file. I think I can figure it out from there.

Sorry to bug you - carry on.

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.8 (alightner)

I'm so retarded... Are there any installation instructions? Or is it implied that one must actually know what one is doing here? I really REALLY want this for my site, but I'm a muddler. And I read instructions for boiling rice every time...

To my credit, the rice always comes out perfect.
