Hi Nathan, I've upgraded to version 1.06(o) now. Here are the results in the different browsers on Mac OSX 10.2.8: I.E. 5.2: problem with incorrect highlighting still occurs, as before. Safari 1.0.3: popup window opens but hangs; see bottom image on http://www.greatchurchwebsites.org/spellchecker_e...

(I can now say that you'd already answered my first question above, about how to install the dictionary, a half-dozen times for other pe...

Use the mysql configuration file rather than the phpbb one. Some versions of nuke have had problems with the phpbb config file.

Go into you templates folder, then find the template mentioned (I think it is called posting) and open it in any editor. Make the changes stated in the documentation. Then save it, and you should be good to go. :) Nathan. Is this the file I am suppose to edit? Line 31?? Nope -- the file should be c...

Re: php Spell Check Not Showing On My Board

I installed the dictionary correctly. When I went to my board I could not see the spell checker. If you...

how can I do this? can you tell more about it please?

Look in the config file. There is an option to turn it on/off -- and which html to strip.

Re: Rich Text Format

any solutions

Your talking an html editor? If so, you can have the spell checker strip all html and then it will spell check it.

I think right around line 240 of the spelling.js files should say:

Code: Select all

  odoc.write("<table border=0 width=400 cellpadding=10><tr><td class=main><span class=main>");
Add your <BR>'s into it before the Table. :)

Re: Spell Check

Hi Nathan, thanks for the reply. You need to copy the spell_mysql.php file from the native to the /spell directory. Both the Common and Mysql in your case need to be in the /spell directory. I'm confusing... what you mean Both common and mysql in the spell directory? Is that meen common directory a...
