Adding UTF-8 support had always been on the long term plan, but the simple fact is that supporting it properly across all the PHP versions and database systems we support required a lot of work to do - we are effectively having to emulate functionality to ensure that it actually works across all of ...

If you believe that you have been hacked via phpBB on the latest release, please file a report via the incident tracker http://www.phpbb.com/support/incidents/ so that it can be investigated. However, there are currently not any known issues - bbcode or otherwise - in a stock 2.0.21 release which co...

Why are yoiu trying to go direct to that script in the first place? It is not intended to be accessed directly, so of course you will get a blank page.

No, they are not dynamically generated.

I can't reproduce the issue myself, but for anyone having trouble with downloads, the files are available both on this site and on our sourceforge project

The actual ordering of those steps will be slightly different, but the general principle will be the same

ie

1. Install phpBB 3.0
2. Convert database and copy files
3. Remove phpBB 2.0

As per an earlier poster, you don't need to explicitly add them to every forum - this is what the global moderator permissions are for, they grant the specified moderator rights on all forums that user can see
