Re: Random Account Switching

Another odd occurence just started happening, when logged in as myself, I click on private messages, and it takes me to the login screen. I login, click on pms, takes me right back to login screen. Ugh. :? Same here .. well, pretty much, not the same pattern every time! I am in live chat right now ...

Re: Random Account Switching

Re: Random Account Switching

Dipping around in your ACP, clearing cache, sessions, bla bla bla, will not make a blind bit of difference. I also "hear you" on the time spent on live chat, only for the robotic rep to say, "your site is loading normally" ... when we all know, that is a million miles away from the problem ... it's ...

Re: Random Account Switching

I'm receiving reports from client's forums that some things are returning to normal, so now wonder if the word is out from other customers and major hosting companies are jumping all over this issue - well, the ones that listen to their customers! ;)

All the best,
Cal :)

Re: Random Account Switching

At the end of it, you're paying for hosting which, presumably, the host supports? You should not have to come here for suggestions how to get them to set up there servers correctly. Ask for level two support if you don't get anything positive. I think we all fully appreciate that angle, but at the ...

Re: Random Account Switching

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!! I will go into live chat with our host later on today (after dealing with a few chores), so if I learn anything new, I will share with everyone here. Last night's "live chat" was about as useful as a chocolate teapot, so I hope I can land a rep that ca...

Re: Random Account Switching

I'm waiting for the live chat to begin, I'll pester my host and see what may have changed. I found out the Cloudflare info just looking at the command center from the host. Anything positive in the resulting chat? From my end, everything works "sort-of-ok" on the forum front, until you hit "board i...

Re: Random Account Switching

This could turn out to be a VERY informative topic ... as we all bang down the down of our host companies!!

Keep us posted, as we all share our findings.

Re: Random Account Switching

Glad to have found this topic this morning, as EVERYTHING!!! went nuts last night and I received many angry emails from clients. Basically, any website where a phpBB forum is part of the environment, the issue mentioned on this topic is clearly happening, where you log out and it randomly logs you i...

Re: Link Issue (Onclick ...)

Update: The above feedback still stands today! ... however, I am trying to see if there is any kind of pattern, as I now suspect that your php routine fixed some (if not approx. 50% of the link issues). I noticed "so far" that links with www seem okay, where other links with http ... ending in html ...

Re: Link Issue (Onclick ...)

Many thanks for the info ... In running the script, here are my results > Successfully disabled execution time Updates needed: 406 Running updates in batches of 100 Finished processing 206 rows. However, I am still seeing links with the HTML open in new window tags at the end. I noticed that if I ed...

Link Issue (Onclick ...)

Hi folks, I have recently upgraded to 3.2 and although most aspects of the forum look clean and functional, this is the first issue I have hit. http://twistedtomatokitchen.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Now, I am running the "External Links Open in New Window" extension, V1.01 a...

Re: [HOW TO] Change your logo in 3.2.x

After all the years of zapping out the "Default Logo" and building my own coded header, I feel it should be a standard option in the ACP by this point, as it's one of the first things forum admins look to change - just a friendly suggestion/observation. Also, it would be nice to see the 24 hour acti...
