Re: Allow Words in post

I'm assuming DW is Don't Worry and DP is another forum.

If other people are interested in this mod, I will make it. Just let me know!

Re: How do I reverse the URL parse function?

Sorry about that, here's an easier way to do it. In posting.php, find this line:

Code: Select all

'S_MAGIC_URL_CHECKED'		=> ($urls_checked) ? ' checked="checked"' : '',
In that line, change

Code: Select all

$urls_checked
to

Code: Select all

!$urls_checked
Or I think you can do this from the ACP if you'd rather do it with out changing the code.

Re: How do I reverse the URL parse function?

Put a "checked" inside the checkbox tag for the checkbox you want selected by default.

Re: How do I reverse the URL parse function?

This line is in posting.php (line 666 in an unmodified version):

Code: Select all

$post_data['enable_urls']		= (isset($_POST['disable_magic_url'])) ? 0 : 1;
Just switch the 1 and the 0 and it should work!

Re: Multi-Forum One Userlist

I think that this should be possible. If all the forums used the same database, with different table prefixes, then you modified the includes/constants.php file so that all the USERS_TABLEs pointed to just the first forums USERS_TABLE, that should take care of it. You'd have to test it though, I don...

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

It's nice to see that phpbb got back up. Personally, I'm trying to get back on my feet from a hard drive crash, so please bear with me as I re-do a lot of the functionality I lost. I'll try and get the next version out as soon as possible. THanks for hanging in there.

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

In the actual topic (not the editting view), does it display the dice code or the actual text?

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

In the actual message, the dice code is changed once the post is made. The code is inserted so that users cannot just keep rerolling until they get what they want. When you actually view the topic, is the correct text inserted?

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

Hi, thank you for your mod. Does it allow for the user to edit their message and put in a new dice code for a reroll? I installed it and it works great. When a user edits their post they can erase the [dice] codes and enter new ones and submit them. They can do this until they get the roll they wan...

Re: [DEV] Topics Read by Moderator Tracker

Haha, you ripped my code apart. I like the additions you've made so I will add them to the next official version. As far as the ordering goes, I chose it that way for this reason: - Sorting in ascending order will bring up all the unread topic first - Sorting in descending order will bring up all th...

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

the pics are ready, dude, check your mailbox ;) Excellent, they look great. I'll add an option to display images of the dice for common dice rolls. Nice job. I have a question. Is it possible to use just the bbcode part? I don't need all the management and my forumers don't care if users change the...

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

I definately like these suggestions, but the problem I run into is how to integrate the two different types of people looking for this mod. There are the RPGing type which want all the features you want. Then there are the people who just want a simple dice roller. Perhaps I could use the [] or the ...

Re: [DEV] Topics Read by Moderator Tracker

This mod has been updated to version 0.2.0. New things: Added the lights to the search pages and allowed sorting based on the moderatgor view status only if all the forums that were searched have moderator priviledges. Changes the functionality so that a topic does not go yellow if a moderator or ad...

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

I can add an option in the admin control panel that can require the user to have a character name in order to roll dice. Then I can add the option to use the character name if they have it and their username otherwise. [ ] Add a field to the user table for their character name [ ] Add an option to t...

Re: [DEV] Dice BBCode

Right now, I'm finishing up the Beta version of the moderator bbcode mod. Should be out today, then I have to update another mod, then I'll get to this one. The other mod should take a week to update. Fortunately, the mod bbcode mod and this mod are very similar, so I've adapted a lot of the suggest...
