Well, if this cannot be handled by support, can this thread be moved to phpBB Discussion? I would at least like to see if anyone else has encountered this.

Thanks!

You're using CAB, which is a port of phpBB. Changes have been made to the source code, so I can't answer your question. This wouldn't happen with the standard phpBB because there is no user_id 0. It can be thought of as a heavily modded/changed phpBB. It's still essentially phpBB in its overall des...

Oh, forgot to say how I figured it out... Well, one of my multiple mods is a table that tracks each visit to the board, and user_id is one of the fields that I store in it. While looking through table entries using phpMyAdmin, I noticed a three-hit succession of entries with the user_id equal to 0, ...

Rare: user_id in userdata is 0 -- possibly from spammers?

In a _very_ small fraction of accesses to my board, I'm seeing the user_id in the userdata record being set to 0 rather than -1 for guests. When reviewing my tracking logs, I saw that in one case, this happened when a known spamming IP was launching posting.php (presumably to robo-guest-post) three ...

it's RC2 and will soon be RC3, so that's why I did not started to broadcast the link too much, but you can download it from here : http://downloads.phpbb-seo.com/gym-sitemaps-5/google-yahoo-msn-sitemap-and-rss-14.html ;) ++ OK, I guess I was confused with the versioning, as the one here also is RC2...

The registration page on my board already states that Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL e-mail addresses are not supported for guaranteed e-mail delivery. Perhaps I should bold this statement and say they are not supported, period? Or maybe I should single out AOL for this?

Any advice welcome.

Activation e-mails not making it to AOL users

Activation e-mails sent by my board are not making it to users with aol.com e-mail addresses.

What strategies should I follow to deal with this, given that people with aol.com accounts won't simply switch to using other accounts just because they can't properly register on my board?

"Advanced Banned User Manager" still being develop

Is somebody still working on this (or something like this)? If so, where might I find it? Thanks.

This mod as been updated :D Will update the release here soon ;) And jaiak, your sitemaps will work if you turn mod rewrite off, with the able2know urls, the rewritten sitemaps links do not work because you need to implement the additional rewriterules from the contrib/ folder of this release. ++ d...

My "crazy" changes: Making it high-performance with SQL caching (on top of the template caching). Making it very well-optimized for search engines (although I have more work to do on that). Establishing a peer ratings system (not unlike that on Slashdot, but with some key differences). Showing featu...

I found the one I wanted because I discovered it was hosted here at phpbb.com. So, we're good. :)

It only happened with using $db->sqlfetchrowset(). It will happen every time that is used, though, because the mod uses the wrong variable name in that function. It uses $this->row there, but that variable is not set at that point. sql_fetchrow uses $this->row, but sql_fetchrowset uses $this->rowse...
