Re: MAJOR OOPS

So I did something really bad. I installed this MOD ( and love it by the way) I tried to delete a few users from my list. In what I can only figure happened I clicked the select all button right above the drop down and deleted my entire user list of 177 people. So I am just going to suppose ...

AOL users getting logged out -- applies to Netscape service?

On this support page, under "My AOL based users keep getting logged out!", it mentions a code change to prevent AOL users from getting logged out.

Is this problem for AOL users also happening with users of the Netscape service, since they are related?

Mod for alerting users who are blocking cookies?

One of my board's users is reporting that they can't stay logged in from page to page of my board, and I suspect it is because their PC is blocking cookies. Nobody else is reporting the problem. Is there a mod for alerting the user that they are blocking cookies, and they will need to stop blocking ...

Hey all. I've installed a couple of mods that really help against the spambots. But i've really been wondering something lately. I know a lot of phpbb forums that do have guest posting enabled, but that have no spambots at all. My forum on the other hand, has guest posting enabled (and I prefer not...

Looks like a nifty mod. I may install it soon. Have you given thought to creating an addon for those of us with the Admin Userlist mod installed, so that the notes will display for each user in the list? Remind me when it's validated, please :D Version 0.1.5 (1.0.0) is in the queue right now, after...

I just installed [2.0.20] registration disable website signature and the mod that keeps unregistered users off the memberlist. We were getting an overwhelming number of new members in the memberlist who turned out to be unregistered so these mods made that problem fairly manageable. Unfortunately a...

Vanilla phpBB permissions are based on Groups, not Ranks. If you can do it with groups, you need to make no mods. I would prefer to do it with ranks. But it might be interesting also to see if the attaining of a rank could automatically move a person into a related group that would then have permis...

Mod for establishing permissions based on special ranks

I have a number of special ranks that are attained based on peer post ratings (due to a ratings system I modded the board with). I would like to set permissions based on these special ranks that users attain. For instance, if somebody has a "very low" rank, I would like to take away their ability to...

Looking for a list of IP ranges to ban from the outset

Does anyone know of a list of IP ranges that should be banned from phpBB boards from the very outset because of lots of problem users (spammers) coming from these IPs?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Is there a working demo of this somewhere? The link in the first post doesn't seem to lead to a demo.

Sorry, I was working from memory when I should have reviewed my code again.

Change $vote_id = $vote_info['$id_vote']; to $id_vote = $vote_info['vote_id'];

and change WHERE vote_id = $vote_id back to WHERE vote_id = $id_vote

That should do it.
