{NAVIGATION} can only be used in overall_header.tpl after it has been declared (going off memory that should be in overall_header.php or page_header.php) in the php-file find something like this $template->assign_vars(array( and include 'NAVIGATION' => $images['navigation'], The next part is to defi...

Now that is a handy little MOD. . . hmm, OK I got a little carried away there. I guess the topicstarter just wanted a quick solution and not necessarily a mod (so apologies offered for a seemingly blunt reply). And in case you're reffering to a MOD ;) I wouldn't dare  But anyway, I read The P...

I've also had to do this a couple of times. A simple way is to disable your board (I'll explain just why in a minute) and run an SQL which will insert the topics, post_text and posts that were missing. If you don't disable your board and you've manually inserted the topic, then the post and before t...

Rather than editing the .tpl files themselves (or for that matter the .php files) I think you can easily solve your problem just by editing the .cfg file of each theme by including the language variable in the location of the image file. e.g. $images['icon_pm'] = "$current_template_images/{LANG}/ico...

The best? I have no best but I do have preferences. For a quick and simple compare I just use Total Commander. For a file comparison allowing me to edit the files at the same time I use ExamDiff Pro (which allows saving Unix or HTML diff reports). As for running a batch to compare a set of files I w...

Yep, added the two new fields to the required table .... this one is a stumper. I even started over three times, to only receive a similar error each time. I don't think it's fair to end this here. Over our PM conversation following these posts, Richard discovered that he had applied the SQL (2 new...

A slight bump just to mention that this mod worked over 2.07a, b, c and d and still works on 2.0.8a.
The mod is still up for grabs - nobody interested??
and BTW I haven't had time to upgrade my demo forum (no remarks please)

Is it likely that someone will give a step by step manual upgarde mod (like acydburn did for 2.06 to 2.07)? Or will the changes be too complex for that? A late reply: Concerning upgrades to mods: some authors will probably write upgrade scripts, some won't. My guess is that many mods would have to ...

I click the link, it says ` Could not obtain list of email-sessions. If you want to create the table, click here to install`. I follow exactly what it says but all it does is refresh to the index page. Then the link, and mass mail link all keep redirecting to the index page :? Wouldn't this be the ...

Hi, you might want to have a look at this mod. It reached final stage but was never officially released (and remains unsupported). Basically, every member gets an extra profile field with which he chooses a default sortorder for posts in topics (ASC or DESC only).

yeah I saw that but I thought you may be able to clarify it further - it seems not. When 2.2 is out sometime this year, obviously the answer will be different. Allow me to clarify or expand on the sometime this year part: Every next time somebody asks this question, the release date is nearer altho...

Re: Multiple Moderators

Make a new group and assign moderator status to that group for each forum you want. As for admin status, yes you can make any user an admin (or even a usergroup) BUT remember that an admin has total access and if any conflict arises in the future, you might have a problem. Only give adùmin rights to...

OK, this is a hard one :) I can't see anything wrong in the coding above (but that's no guarantee) I take it that you've modified functions.php (since there's no error mesage when calling the new functions). What about the SQL with database changes? Did you alter the _forums-table as required? BTW w...
