turns out, the ( and ) brackets are among 3 characters that get replaced by ascii code when placed in the {TEXT} segment of bbcode...
fix done, release immanent

alright, I found the first problem with my relocated code. the message_parser seems to add 4 zero-width-spaces or something to round brackets that is places between the boundaries of a bbcode.
As a result math parsing has been almost completely disabled for now.
Fix is gonna be out soon.

I have tested it with both versions, yes. But please keep in mind, that my testing capabilities are very limited. yes, that same bug. its actually buggy for all dice bbcodes that use tags. if you are already using the latest version (which seems to have some trouble anyways), this will fix at least the problem with the invalid dice codes you experienced as an admin. My goodness that doesn't sound right.
I'm sorry but I really can't look after the mod at the moment cause I have 2 projects due in november.
Until I get to it, please refrain from using 0.8.1.
I'll gladly look at any bugfix code contributions.

disabling bbcode does not disable the processing of new dicerolls atm.
however it does prevent the display of the rolls when you look at the finished post.

You have to create a new module and set it to be a category (not a module).
It's like creating a new forum, which you can set to be a forum, category or link.

You need to set permissions that allow you to remove dicerolls.
