Can I edit all the files on my other server and test it and just bring them over and overwrite the current ones when I get them right, except for the config.php...

there is a mod either here or at phpbbhacks.com that fixes that. i think it counts letters until it finds a space and if it is more than a certain value it chops it and does a line break.

I am looking for a version of the drop-down box for smilies that works in 2.0.6 or 2.0.7....... when I write in Visual basic I can write a drop down box that drops down and scrolls sideways then dissapears on click. Any idea how to do this in Javascript or php?

I wouldn't chmod root to 777 as it is wide open, right guys? Your errors give the folders: Warning: Failed opening './language/lang_/lang_main_attach.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/nf/lib/php') in /mnt/web_g/d20/s07/b01e236a/www/forum/nfphpbb/attach_mod/attachment_mod.php on line 55 ...

try opening your site in ftp and for the folders listed like languae etc. CHMOD it to 777, i.e. right clcik the folder and click chmod and type 777... looks like it cannot access the included files becuase permissions are wrong.
