Howdy, Cindi... Thank you for the compliment... ;) I've got around 90 MODs installed so far and the last bit of MODs that I have installed are causing some minor cosmetic problems unfortunately... :( Well... Yeah... I have used this one to upgrade to 2.0.6... Read this thread... http://www.phpbb.com...

Howdy... ;) I think chmod should take care of the problem... But as you've said, you need to find out whether the host is on Windows based or *Nix based one... Of course, the process if fairly the same... You can use WSFTP to do that... Right click on the files directory within the WSFTP... Select O...

Howdy... ;)

I don't think that feature is available in 2.0.6... At least that's what I think... That's why I had to install one myself... I could be wrong though... ;)

Um... You are not supposed to bump up the post in that short period... You usually don't get the answer by doing so... :(

Well... If you have messed up the forum, then use the backup file to restore back to the state where you were okay and start over and be careful this time... ;)

Right click on the avatars(or whatever the name you have assigned) directory within the WSFTP...
Operations >> FTP Commands >> CHMOD (Unix)
and set it to 777

See if it works for you... ;)

Howdy... ;)

The first thing I'd check is to make sure that the avatars directory is set to 777 or read/write permission...

Howdy... Find this line from that admin_ug_auth.php file $sql = "INSERT INTO " . AUTH_ACCESS_TABLE . " (forum_id, group_id, $sql_fiel_field) and show us 10 lines above that line and 10 lines after that line... Or, alternatively, you could try to upload that admin_ug_auth.php file again to the host...
