I had this last week - thought I'd locked myself out permanently - but I deleted my cookies using the browser and this allowed the new one to be added when I logged in and then I was able to change settings back and everything was ok/ | This prompted a question though - which I have posted elsewhere...

A_J_D: I am getting this too. When I log in (site admin) I am having to log in twice and I suspected it was a cookie thing. I suspect that my users are experiencing the same thing. I went ahead last week (board is VERY new) and changed the cookie domain and paths - and locked myself out althgether! ...

Thank you Pelican, I have read this article and I think tried to do as it instructs - problem seems to be that, since the domain name has changed on the localhost but the live site has the config of the old domain name set the browser wants to leave the 127.0.0.1 subnet and go to the fully qualified...
