it keeps saying ppt extension not allowed, but i have enabled to allow the file.
what could i be doing wrong? i am testing this on my own computer with full access, everything else on my test message board is working fine.

I don't think it can be done unless the codes are seriously modified. What I would do would be to post a sticky or an announcement inside that forum to explain what this forum is, and you can use the tags to post external links. Yes, I know that, but the thing is.

Once I restore the database, i can't get back into the admin panel because all the info has been updated with the port 80 data, including the port 80 setting right?

Ok, i just worked it out by total fluke. All that is needed to put in the smtp text box in the configuration is the ISP info.
