Re: MODX Creator 1.0.1

This is just what I was looking for to start creating a plugin for phpbb. I installed it using automod but not sure what the URL is to use it so installed the offline version which worked great and is really nice to see phpbb developers offering other developers a clean and easy way to create plugin...

Re: Integrating Elgg and phpBB

If you have setup Joomla you could use http://www.jfusion.org to integrate them both. I installed joomla just to make that easier and build headers and footers.

Just build your login system around similar code to what Noxwizard has written in many variations on that article and it will work fine, I managed to get it to work before with no problems.

Re: Integrating my login system

This has been asked around a lot before, and doesn't actually need a mod cause it is easier than it sounds. I'll add old topic with sample script I remember seeing before to this if I can find it.

Re: Predictions for the computer industry, end of this decad

Well with the singularity conference and people taking so much in implementing open standards for robots where everyone can make sure the code doesn't create "AI ghosts" then everything will be fine :) (unless a giant mega company just monopolize everything with there own propriatory standards, whic...

Re: Predictions for the computer industry, end of this decad

So when are we going to get those quantum computers and robots that kill us all? sounds like the same old "world is going to end next week" predictions. Lol open source software has nothing to do with the "robo apocalypse" ;) . We all know the world will end in that scenario when steve jobs dies, a...

Predictions for the computer industry, end of this decade

I know it might really be a bit early to predict, but Iv'e seen a lot of suggestive sources and from the trend of 2007-now, and from a lot of what Iv'e seen going on the past years from plans and new products by industry giants such as Microsoft, apple, google, sony, ect, that this decade will be th...

Lots of new integration from collaboration of companies have happened in the past 2 years towards joining famous services together and seamlessly to offer a more dynamic service, such as games consoles teaming up with social networking sites and VODS (video on demand services), mobile phone companie...

Re: Adding buttons to my header

Change WEBSITE_LINK to whatever your css script is called (like globalheader.css), and try using a name for the css file that doesn't already exist.

Re: Broken my forum!

Are you using a modified theme, or know what you want possibly different in a theme that would mean you need to edit it?

Might sound trivial :) but you havn't said much about the theme your using. I would suggest reinstalling a non-modified version of the theme your using (prosilver I guess).

Re: Giant gap between forum footer and pag end

Yes I think I know where I have gone wrong now. I'll try using top for y posistioning thanks. EDIT: Ok I edited both the advertisements.css and foot.css for all the tags in overall_footer by changing this position:relative; bottom:517px; to this position:relative; top:-517px; and still looks exactly...

I added a div to put all the images in, but I don't understand what you mean by the head. Also there is a lot of errors been brought up from unedited code on my forum. Is phpbb not complia...

Re: Giant gap between forum footer and pag end

I think it might be because of the way each image is an individual element in my html (img.imagename in css), that is making the page stretch. I am going to try alternatives to image elements and see what happens :| .
