3.0.8 to 3.0.9 patch error

I'm getting an error message after uploading the upgrade patch files listed in the announcement for boards that were modified. The error I'm getting is; Warning: require(./../includes/startup.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /tweb/account/hosted/install/in...

So, for my own interests then - how come my styles use post_author without the _full, and what's the difference?

Re: Authors Name Missing in posts

Shouldn't the authors name be tagged by {postrow.POST_AUTHOR} and not {postrow.POST_AUTHOR_FULL} ? It might have changed since last I checked, but all my installed styles refer to the former and not the latter. <!-- IF not postrow.U_POST_AUTHOR --><strong>{postrow.POST_AUTHOR_FULL}</strong><!-- ELSE...

forumlist table issue

Hey folks, just noticed that the end of the table in forumlist_body is not finishing correctly. http://www.world-recoded.com/download/forumlist_body.png As you can see there is a small but annoying gap in the end of the list that re-occurs. My forum list page , the style is a modified version of Abs...

Re: Changing the profile layout in member posts

You want to have a look at viewtopic_body.html
User avatars are displayed through {postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}, moving that tag will move the resulting avatar image.

Re: Logo of my Theme!

I use; <div id="my_logo"><a href="./"><img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/myLogo.png" alt="" /></a></div> placed after the <body> tag in overall_header.html and this; <style> #my_logo{ position: absolute; left: 40px; top: 40px; } </style> Before the </head> to position it as I want it. If you know CSS, ...

Re: Checking if a user is logged in?

You could use that, yes.

You can also use this as a reference;

Code: Select all

 if ($user->data['user_id'] == ANONYMOUS) {
   echo 'Please login!';
} else {
   echo 'Thanks for logging in, ' . $user->data['username_clean'];
}
It's from the sessions integration KB Article.

Re: Dispute with epwork.com

Ditto,

I've had my domain up and running for years, only after I installed phpBB did I start to receive these messages.
It may be possible, since I openly link to my site from here, that perhaps someone is skimming the memberlist here for linked personal sites?

Permissions Settings

Hey guys, I want to let users create a topic, and be able to reply to it, but not see anyone elses topic in the same forum. I would also like for selected groups to have full access to view/edit close etc the topics. How can I set up a subforum to allow this sort of permission? Any help would be mos...
