Re: How to point to user avatar?

Oh..

When you say include functions_display.php, do you mean:

Code: Select all

Include("/includes/functions_display.php");
or

Code: Select all

$user->setup('functions_display');

[Solved] Avatar URL strings

I'm curious as to how people how have developed portals before have achieved this. As far as I can see, the code: user->data['user_avatar'] Only gives the file name if it was uploaded, or a directory and file name if the image was chosen from the gallery. How does one go about writing a piece of cod...

Re: Session Integration error.

Would there be any particular reason why PHP commands will not work? Root file is in .php and template file...

[Solved] Session Integration error.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but i've not tried doing this exactly before. (search didn't turn much up, I've already checked) In my quest to build my very own, custom design Portal for my phpbb forum, I applied the static page mod and inserted all the HTML for my portal into a BBCode and...

Re: Allowing PHP in custom BBCodes

The front page is a glorified post.

I'm using the static page mod and putting my custom
portal HTML in a bbcode coz custom page mod does
not allow amy more than a post in a normal topic.

Allowing PHP in custom BBCodes

I would like to know how to enable the use of PHP in custom bbcodes to allow me to use the PHP Include function. At the moment, I have a test code that looks as such; Usage: [include]{TEXT}[/include] HTML Replacement: <?php Include("{TEXT}"); ?> At the moment, the tag works, but displays n...

[Solved] .htaccess changes

Hi folks, Does anyone know what to put in the .HTACCESS file so that instead of /index.php as the default frontpage, I can change it to a page I created using the Static Pages mod? I'm just trying to create my own front page "portal". But I don't know enough about editing the HTACCESS to d...

Re: Serial Mod

I know you werent born yesturday ;) I was just trying to point out the most simplistic option for the frequency of the operation. If you were going to need to use this system very often then yes, you would indeed need a serial code based system. If i was only proccessing 2 or three accounts a month ...

Re: Serial Mod

Why not ask the potential member for their desired username, and manually create the account, with a generic password they can change on first login?

That sounds easier to me, and you can keep registration completely closed to prevent code sharing.
