Re: !!!Registration captcha illegible

Imo the best capchas are the Q and A with an answer that can't be googled (the bots can use search engines :( ), or if you want something unobtrusive the invisible recapcha 2 works well too (I use this on my board)

Re: An attachment bbcode tag inside a url tag breaks the url.

An attachment isn't a URL, therefore there is nothing to link to. That's why it doesn't work. It's not a bug,

Re: Bottom line: Is it worth changing styles?

The latest crop of styles all seem well maintained with updates from 3.2 to 3.3. There is a natural delay with them being released as they need to be validated by the styles team to ensure they work properly and updates have been correctly applied. The beauty of all styles in the CDB is that they ar...

Just for future reference, in UNIX like operating systems (Linux, BSD, Solaris, etc) a filename that starts with a dot is a hidden file :ugeek:

Re: Assign different colour palettes to each subforum?

I'll happily install a style but I don't want to have to try all of them one by one just to find one that can do this. I'll start reading through their discussion boards here. If you decide to go this route, two of my styles are available in a selection of colours (Flat Style and Metrolike), there ...

Re: No style changes from phpbb 3.2.9 to 3.3.0?

what are we supposed to do with that? there are no instructions about add, remove, replace etc. with that code. The page I'm seeing there is literally nothing but "find this and replace with this", versus "find this and delete it", versus "this entire file should be deleted...

Re: No style changes from phpbb 3.2.9 to 3.3.0?

Yes there are changes between 3.2.9 and 3.3.0 but I don't think there is any documentation from the phpBB team. You would need to compare files yourself from both branches using a diff tool.

What's the point of adding a jumpbox on index ?
Its going to be an icon in the navbar, so just for a bit of consistency across all the pages: http://style-test.phpbbstyles.oo.gd/viewforum.php?f=2

Re: Jumpbox on index page

I tried adding it, but its empty. It's no biggie if it's going to require lots of extra code as it's really just a thought for aesthetics (the jump box is going to be just an icon)
