Well my eyes are all burnt out but I think it's ready, so bumped to RC, demo site updated, and first post updated with download link

I gotta agree with you, the simpler extensions (such as this) are overly complicated

You guys do love your bloat. :D The OP doesn't stipulate whether it's a simple customisation of an off the shelf style or whether they are making lots of edits to warrant a child style, or their level of familiarisation with the system so the best recommendation imo is to use an extension. When it's done, it will be available on my site first while it awaits validation here.

There will also be beta versions for testing purposes on my site if they are needed.

Currently the beauty of prosilver child styles is the ease of updating minor versions. My most complicated style is a conversion of an old subsilver based style, but now based on (and a child of) prosilver and takes only around 10 to 15 minutes to update using the code changes published over on Area...

This is a port of phpBB 3.0's id_ProValentina style by Ishimaru Chiaki.
