Re: [BETA] Board Clubs 1.0.1

Hi! If I activate an user-created club, I get the following Error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function submit_pm() in /var/www/clients/xxx/xxx/web/forum/includes/functions_clubs.php on line 1739 But the file has just 1492 lines ;( any idea? Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

The chat system works a lot better now. Almost no bugs after I installed newer versions of some php modules. So if you have shell access, I'd say do a full upgrade (though I would avoid php 5.3 due to its memory bugs).

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

I tested this mod to work with phpBB SEO (3.0.8) and it works flawlessly. In other words, I created a test server with the pre-configured version of phpBB SEO with phpBB3 Social Network. ALL FEATURES WORK. The only problem is when phpBB SEO mod isn't active yet, then you WILL encounter bugs -everyw...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

Ok as stated before, I would try it on a blank slate and 15 minutes later I have myself a fully working social network forum. everything works 100%, no flaws attached. This is on my local server with phpbb 3.7 not 3.8. I'm going to test it again, this time with the SEO version of phpbb

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

How would I customize the looke of this? say switch the avatar to the right side instead of the left ? and etc. Thank You You would have to modify the template files found in your template/socialnet folder accordingly. IE: Modify the CSS of the DIV's classes. A simple google search will do wonders ...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

OK Tested, Chat box shows up but it says Chat (4) and nothing else. The arrows are next to the box for some reason, I'll play around, this may be because of my wrapper. There should only be 1 friend online. Friend list shows up 3 times the normal amount, this is probably an easy fix on my end. Statu...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Social Network

I'm going to test this out but before I do I'll have to spend like an hour manually removing some mods that will likely conflict. I'll let you know how smooth the ride went :)

What should I know about IPV6?

As a webmaster, what should I know about IPV6? All I know is that it can give everyone and their lego blocks an assigned ip address because IPV4 is losing the amount of slots available for unique IP addresses and IPV6 has an insane amount of slots. So.. Basiscally, is phpBB ready for this transition...

Re: Notify users on moderator edit notes

This mod idea makes a lot of sense, especially for boards that are larger and require more moderation. Basically from what I'm understanding is that in the PM it would read as: //if message action is delete, removed, or edited TITLE: Your message has been {Action}, please read! MESSAGE:[/b...

Re: [RC] Friends in profiles

Could you please explain more on what this mod is about? Is it a modification of the mutual friends mod? Is it using the phpBB zebra thing which is more or less a bookmark system?

Re: Difference between iframe and <!-- INCLUDE ?

So in other words, I need to look up how the template engine works in order to figure out how all of this works? I think I can manage :D Although, what problems would I face if I were to use an iframe to include modules besides unfriendly SEO (but that doesn't matter because there's no SEO in profil...

Re: [BETA]OurTube 2.1.1 [14.11.2010] *NEW

Question: I see in the install xml, it says to uninstall the old OurTube mod... does that include the database updates? If so, is there a list of things that were added to the database? If there's any difference with the database table, it should just be extra tables that aren't needed anymore but ...

Difference between iframe and <!-- INCLUDE ?

What's the difference between the two? I never use iframes but i noticed that I can make a UCP module work if it's in an iframe but it won't work if i just include it within another page. Like for example.. say I want the user to be able to edit their own profile directly from memberlist_view.html <...

Re: PHP script in template?

I don't know if it will work with the html comments but just use <?php blah blah... ?> or shorthand it with <? if your server supports it (it should).
