Re: Can't disapprove posts

It thinks they're in the introduction topic. You have very short pages so you could try putting the posts per page up to a big number like 500 and scanning through that topic to see if they show up. Then you can use the MCP to remove them. If they don't then I'd be inclined to remove them from the ...

Re: Can't disapprove posts

Thanks Kevin, I'll have a bit more of a look.

Re: Can't disapprove posts

We got hit with about 125+ spammers over the last 24 hours after at least 12 months with no spammers able to bombard the board. Anyway, I've Pruned the inactive users and have been left with these 2 posts. Can I PM you an account for you to look?

Can't disapprove posts

I have 2 posts by 'Guest' which when I click the Disapprove button I get the following message;

You are not authorised to access this area.

I have tried by both Founder and Admin.

root/store

I can't seem to find the store director? Is it hidden by default?

Re: Can't change to Sticky

Fixed;

permissions
group forum permissions
administrators
the forum you want to do it in
full access.

If you click the advanced permissions link you'll see what permissions are set for each of the defaults.

Can't change to Sticky

For some reason, I can't seem to make a topic in one of my forum's Sticky. I'm an Admin.

Re: Giving permissions for a group to change pw's

One thing I've noticed in the ACP, my 'Global Moderators' seem to have a little too much in there than they should. For example, some 3rd party MODs (User Reminder 1.0.5 for example).

Re: Giving permissions for a group to change pw's

It's an admin permission, not a moderator one, so they shouldn't have it already. Permissions administrators add the global mods group to the top right box and choose to edit permissions. Then choose advanced permissions > users and groups tab > can manage users YES And make sure everything else is...

Looks like 'Global Moderators' already have this setting as Yes.

Re: Giving permissions for a group to change pw's

Thanks Kevin, I haven't touched phpBB in a while. So if I want to give "can manage users" to 'Global Moderators'...where/how in ACP?
