The best thing to do is to simply resize the banner in an image-editing application, such as Adobe Photoshop. Unfortunately, I am not familiar enough with Javascript to provide any other support.

@ConsiderThis: ScionCrow is referring to the Knowledge Base . At first, you'll probably be pretty busy carrying out administration tasks. After a while, however, you'll notice some trustworthy members, and you can promote them to the moderator rank. From then on, you'll be relieved of a lot of the ...

It didn't before... Anyone else getting that?

Yep, I'm getting that message when I navigate beyond the first page of results. I don't know why, though.

I don't think this is possible for any of the current popular online BB scripts. I guess you'll just have to follow ScionCrow's suggestion :) .

Re: Where can I find an "older" clean version of p

I'm trying to restore an old database and I'm looking for 2.0.9 and then I want to update it to 2.0.17. Can anyone give me the URL for where I might find that version? I'm not quite sure you need to restore the database onto 2.0.9 and then update to 2.0.17. I think directly installing 2.0.17 and re...

Sorry, I gave the incorrect answer... Instead of editing "Background Colour", edit "Table Cell Colour 2". And yes, I know that it's irritating that the Admin CP shares a CSS file with the main board...

To answer your question, chuck252, I believe that the PHP code should be inserted in the corresponding PHP file. For example, if you wanted to add a switch to templates/*style name*/overall_header.tpl, you would add the PHP code to includes/page_header.php.

Admin CP > Styles Admin > Management > Edit (in the row of the Style you wish to edit) > Theme Settings > Background Colour

Be sure to exclude the "#" sign from the color code :) .

I have a question about this -- would a README.txt file belong in a contrib folder, a docs folder, or in the root folder?

Okay, I'm about halfway finished with version 1.1.0 (going to turn 1.2.0 after I finish the code and test it a couple of times). Instead of using add-ons in a contrib folder as originally planned, I'm going to add Admin CP control for the extra features :D . So far, I've completed the editing of the...

Re: make money with google

@bwmasti: Nope, I'm not going to add any support for Google Adsense. You can make that an add-on once I finish version 1.2.0, and we can discuss it over PM. This MOD is for the sole purpose of adding a Google Free searchbar. @beggers: Of course the searchbar will be used more if placed at the heade...
