Re: Removing shadow topic

Go to the forum that has the shadow topic, and click on the Moderator Control Panel.

The shadow topic should have a extra feature in its "Title" which should say "Delete Shadow Topic"

This will delete the shadow topic only, i just done it on my board, and the original topic was not affected.

Re: [ISSUE/BUG?] Hot Topics Behaviour since 3.0.4

Code: Select all

Popular topic threshold:
Posts per topic threshold required for the popular topic annotation. Set to 0 to disable popular topics.
Its explaining posts per topics, not replies.
Viewforum reply title, does not count the topic starter post.

So there is 15posts (= hot topic) but view forum says 14.

See if there's a noticeable difference without all the ads. Thanks for reply. I will try your sugges...

Re: My forum very slow... What can i do?

Yes it loads fine for me using opera too.

Is it always slow? or only sometimes?
You say you don't use your own server, maybe your hosting company is experience some heavy server load.
You should try contacting them.

Re: Administrators / email notfication

Go to your ACP > Permissions > Users' Permissions > Select User

There is a drop down menu, by default it is set to "User Permissions", select "Admin Permissions"
Using the "Advanced Permissions" click on the "Users + Groups" tab.

There you will see the permission quoted by ric323

In the ACP go to > Permissions > Groups' Forum Permissions > Select the group that you want to see the forum but not read it. (example: Guests) Using the Advanced Permissions Setting - set the "Post" permissions to: Can See Forum = Yes Can Read Forum = No So guests can see the forum, but when they c...
