Re: 3.2.1 upgrade, ReCaptcha2 not working

Still not working... boo.

I deleted the key and regenerated it on the ReCAPTCHA website. I don't think it will help but I am totally stumped now and just trying anything to get this working.

If anyone has any comments, guesses or other suggestions, just let me know.

Re: 3.2.1 upgrade, ReCaptcha2 not working

Update: I found one more file at /phpbb/captcha/plugins/recaptcha.php so I uploaded a fresh copy. Fingers crossed....

Re: 3.2.1 upgrade, ReCaptcha2 not working

Since I deleted and uploaded fresh files, the problem remains. Can you tell me where else in the files or database ReCAPTCHA is referenced? I found it in the phpbb_config database table (I didn't make any changes though, I was just browsing). If there are some other files in the core of phpBB 3.2.1 ...

Are you using the ReCaptcha extension that was available for phpBB 3.1? If so disable it and delete data then activate the one in the core of phpBB 3.2.1
No, it's the core 3.2.1 one.

3.2.1 upgrade, ReCaptcha2 not working

I updated to 3.2.1 last weekend from 3.1 and I do have some people register but less than usual. What is different is that I receive emails daily from folks saying that the captcha isn't working, there is no code, etc. In other words, ReCAPTCHA isn't working. I have allow_url_fopen turned on, which ...

Customized form to send email to admin

I searched but did not find an extension on this. I want to be able to create a page with fields like actual name, mailing address, comment box, etc. and then I want the contents of that to be submitted to the admin, basically the same way as the current "Contact Us" page but with custom f...

Re: PHPBB Suddenly Very Slow Posting

Personally I would run a check of all the database tables next. Repair any that are not OK. Then optimize all tables after that. I do that on a semi-regular basis if my site randomly slows down.

Re: Do I need to use CLI for upgrade?

600K posts to me that's a "large" board. If you can't use CLI, ask your host to give you SSH access perhaps, see what they say.

Worst case you have to run it through the browser. The new update process is much smoother than the old one and will probably run anyway.

1.0.4 now available.
Cool. There's no "RC" in the version number, is this some sort of official release now?

Re: https + Captcha = PHP error

I wanted to quickly add that I am on Cloudflare, use SSL, upgraded to 3.2.1 and Recaptcha broke with the same error.

All you need to do to fix it is enable allow_url_fopen

Re: The installer detected a timeout 3.1.10 - 3.2.1

Can you run the CLI command line interface update method? I had the timeout error too, in my case I just kept re-running the script and it eventually worked (as far as I can tell). The next upgrade I had I used CLI and it ran without crapping out.

Re: Invisible reCAPTCHA

3.2 supports the newer version of reCaptcha where you have to click a checkbox to prove you are not a human. You have to create some credentials on the reCaptcha site. Invisible reCaptcha where you don't see or click on anything is not supported. Perhaps a developer will create an extension for it....

Doh.... I figured it out. Here's the correct working code in case it can help someone else... (I had to change MYSQL_ASSOC to MYSQLI_ASSOC) 8-) <?php $urlPath = "../forums"; include '/home/site/public_html/forums/config.php'; $table_topics = $table_prefix. "topics"; $table_forums...

Re: 3.2: Show recent topics on site home page (not part of forum)?? Script help!

Your query is correct. However, you are using the mysqli_* functions wrong. It seems you just added the i to the old mysql_* functions, but to make them work you should add the $link parameter. More info here: http://php.net/manual/en/mysqli.query.php Sorry, I had pasted the wrong code earlier. I u...

You're right. I'll look into that, thanks.
