Problem with Automatic Update

Upgraded from RC4 to RC5 no mods installed. Basic plain phpBB3 board (2 users). Re: how to add a link on the header

Log into the Adminstrators Control Panel (ACP) then click on the tab for Styles, then click on Templates, then clcik Cache....Scroll down to the bottom check "Mark All" then click Delete Marked.....That will clear your cache

Re: Problem after upgrade from RC3 to RC4

There is no need for me to perform the install over again? I just remove the install directory and the config.php file from the full package version I just downloaded... FTP them and overwrite the existing files.....Correct :?:

I don't have any mods so I don't care about that, just don't want to lose my posts!

Re: Problem after upgrade from RC3 to RC4

Open config.php, and change // @define('DEBUG', true); // @define('DEBUG_EXTRA', true); to @define('DEBUG', true); @define('DEBUG_EXTRA', true); Hopefully this should allow you to get an error message so we can help you better. Thank you didn't know about th...

Re: Can I go back to RC3 even after upgrading to RC4

I need something to happen my board is dead and I am getting no support for the thread above!!! You're getting quite a lot of support actually. Is there a way to go back to RC3? That's what backups are for. Also, as it is an RC release and not the full gold you should be aware that things could go ...

Re: Problem after upgrade from RC3 to RC4

Have you tried replacing your files (except the config.php) with those from the full download package? All the people with successful updates (me included) see to have used the full package files. I dunno if there's any connection there though. No I haven't .....But what throws a wrench in that the...
