Basically, the table already exists in the database. So you have already tried installing and doing it again (this would mean that you created the table in the database and are trying to make another one.)
Are you sure you deleted the database the first time?
It really depends allot on your template you chose, ex. the size of the header image and your image buttons. We are currently hosting a board that only uses 5 gigs of transfer per month with 500 users and an average of 5 users online.
I would just like to second that, I think that it is a great idea and It will allow board users another chance to show off their own bb’s and have the phpbb community diffine who’s is the best.
If I can remember correctly, you can change Headers and such in the admin panel. It would be under templates and you would need to modify the default. Maybe someone can give you more information?
Try what camnchar said. If your control panel is Ensim, then you will need to do this. I get this question alot from clients. If you log into your Ensim CP with Joe@youraddress.com then you will have to use this to loginto MySQL dbname = Joe_Databasename or Username_databasename dbuser = Joe dbpass ...
Providing a full error would help in the future. But if you did change servers, then you will need to change your config file, You will need to update your DNS and login information.
PHPbb dose take room when it installs. I don’t think it is a big problem as you don’t have to many users. If you just check up on it every few days and see how large it grows with more posts.
i use lycos/tripod aswell and i keep getting alot of errors on the installation pages here they are Warning: Unable to access ./includes/sql_parse.php in install.php on line 247 Warning: Failed opening './includes/sql_parse.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/data/apache/php/mmp_lib') in install.p...
