That won't allow it to see any of your pages (it will just get a banned message).

I think you are talking about the spam bots that you're worried about. Install some anti-spam mods when you're updating your site.

Re: Upgrading 2.0.19 to .22 problem

Do you have any mods installed? If no, upload a new copy of each file (except config.php) and see if that helps.

Re: Moving to new host

It's too big for phpBB to handle. Use phpMyAdmin.

Download it in phpMyAdmin and then upload it in chunks to the new host.

Re: Preventing SPAM - Bots and Humans

The mod that blocks keywords in the posts works well for human posts if they are trying to spam you (and you have the word in the list).

Re: Moving to new host

Move your FTP files to the new one, then move your db to the new one using phpMyAdmin and then change the config.php file to that of your new host.

Re: gallery help

You can edit the HTML or right click on the image and see where it is located. Create a new image and name it the same as the image that is on your site now. Then upload it to the same place so it overwrites the image.

Re: ok what the hell is up with ranks

First, clear your browser cache. When you are in the ACP, right click on the image and note the path. Then do the same when you see the x and see if that will lead you to know if they're in the right spot.

Re: How to change PHPBB Icon

Right click on the image and you'll see the path to it. Create a new image with the same name and upload it to the same directory.
