Consider submitting it as a bug report. It sounds worthy to me(for what that's worth), and it will get the developers to take a closer look at the issue.

I think it would be cool to have a topic icons feature, as long as it were really easy to turn off. IMO it would be better if there were a topic icon gallery, so you wouldnt have to deal with uploads or off-site images.

I think when you vote for a poll, it should automatically reload the topic instead of making you click that one link in the middle of the page, just less hassle, eh?
