Hi, This is just a silly "off the top of my head" thing.. AOL users are allocated an IP within a particular range... Can session ID's not be allocated to that range? ? Forum Permissions

Hi, What you need to do is log in as a Forum Admin. Go to the Admin Control Panel and then to Forum Admin - Permissions. From here you can set who can and can't see, post etc on each Forum. (You are best to click the Advanced link to be able to set each permission individually!) Hope that helped . ....

This has nothing to do with phpBB really. Your prospective members need to review/change their spam filters! OR you could install the "Visual Confirmation" MOD. . Have a look though the MODs section as a few have this in them.. The Visual Confirmation stops "Robot" sign-ups to your forum... :D Good ...

From what i have seen (just checked my forum) only Admins are allowed to edit/change user profiles. Problem with that is that if you make your Moderator an Admin, maybe he can abuse the forum... :? Yes, that is a database edit.

You will need phpMyAdmin installed to do that easily.

Two ways to do it.... Go to your memberlist and check each and every member and what their email address is. Or, if you have phpMyAdmin installed you can query the database . . . How? I would suggest you post your query in the phpBBHacks support Forum.

Chances are though you have made a mistake in the install of the style or some other MOD...

If an error installing a MOD, Post your problem in the MOD forum.

Install....

You will need to read the install instructions for phpMyAdmin. Installl on your server. Once installed you can then loh into it through " phpMyAdmin /index.php" (choose your own folder name for this... ). When installing and using this, think paranoia! Be secure. Protect the folder, don't let people...
