Re: SQL error

Hi, If you have access to phpMyAdmin via your hosts, you can run a check and if need be a repair on the table in question. If the content is corrupted (for whatever reason) then analysis of the table and repair should get you back up without the problem.. Des. . . ;) PS: Saw quite a few googled prob...

Re: how do i fix this error? - URGENT

HI, Two possibles to look into from postgres support pages: Linky ... Linky .... Not a whizz on PostGres so I hope that is something. As mentioned in one search I found, the unique id for a table is not being advanced, so the fix would be to repair that issue, however done in PostGres. Des. . . ;)

Re: my webforum dose not keep automatic login

Hi, Also, if you are using a sub-domain such as "www.pmb.e-nok.net" then you don't use the www part just "pmb.e-nok.net" And in that case your cookies domain should be the same:- pmb.e-nok.net" no dot at the front. And while we are at it, it would be best to make you mind up as to whether you are us...

Re: Parked Domain problems

Hi, You shouldn't be able to get to your forum from another domain at all, unless you have redirects from them to your main domain. Most hosts will have separate directory's etc for each domain name registered. You could then have either a redirect in your other domains index.html file or a redirect...

Re: Founding admn tried update to 303 frrm 301, locked out,Help

HI, You can update the files from phpBB3.0.1 a thousand time and your forum will still report that you are using 3.0.3 as this is a field set in the DB. You'd need to run the update package from 3.0.1 to change the field (not tried that myself though!).. However, Have a look at this topic as it may ...

Edit: Maybe you should be considering installing something like this:

Re: Navigating on my forum opens multiple tabs

HI,

By default phpBB3.0.x opens links in the same browser window.

Time for you , I think, to check your Firefox settings for links and where they open as you can override the default web site setting with your own.

I am sure that AOL does not have an endless supply of IP addresses from which to connect it's members.

And undoubtedly there will be a public record of their IP ranges....

Re: Ban by IP and "Last Visited"

Hi, Banning a user does not automatically ban their IP (or email address). Banning an email address does not automatically ban the user associated with that email address or the users IP. If you want to ban a user, you ban them . You can also, ban whatever IP address they used (great if they are on ...
