Adding Images to Imageset

I wanted to add some custom icons. I had written down the necessary files to modify to add an image to the imageset rather than just referring to it in an img href. Is there a summary somewhere or KB? Thanks.

I implemented this on an Artodia style which is as far removed from prosilver but technically prosilver as styles go and it worked fine. You may run into some issues with imageset images.

As far as I remember this is pretty straightforward...
Or you can just open calendar.html and delete <!-- IF calendar_days.BIRTHDAYS -->{calendar_days.BIRTHDAYS}<!-- ENDIF --> :D

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

Hi, I'm using that style as well. I was able to solve the problem with the buttons by following (Quick & Dirty): OPEN yourstyle/template/calendar.html Thanks for this. To be clear, what it looks like is you are replacing the images in imageset with HTML entities such as &#9734; for new even...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

I want to share this here, because in Mod Writer Discussion section it going out of sight.. Alightner Calendar - Canonical - Title - Breadcrumb - Addition Thanks for this! Just a couple of notes. You need to close your <!--- IF ELSE in overall_header. (before <!-- END navlinks -->). Also in overall...

Link Target _blank bad?

I'd always been told that having links open new windows was just bad practice. But the reasons behind it were mostly idealistic in nature along the lines of imposing on the visitor's controls by forcing a new window to open. This was way back before we even had tabbed browser windows. I've also alwa...

Re: Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

Many things in the database that are changed with mod additions cannot be done with just SQL queries that would be run manually. The install scripts that are used now are designed to make things easier for users and mod authors, while being cross database compatible (also something not possible wit...

Re: Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

Yes, I may have meant AutoMod. Goes to show you how much I use it lol. When I started dabbling in phpBB, AutoMod was not as widely used so I just got used to doing it by hand. I also have a tendency to modify everything beyodn recognition so that let's me know exactly what is being changed. Along si...

Re: Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

You don't need to restore the modded database back to the server. Upload the modded files to replace the ones on the server, clear the cache then just take the board offline for 2 minutes while you run all the MOD SQL queries that they need. That's it. That's exactly how I update my boards. Awesome...

Re: Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

Having seen your mods first hand, EXreaction, I know you know what you're doing. Thank you for providing those mods. Yes, I would be doing all of this in a development environment. And this question really only applies to mods that make DB changes. To further clarify my steps: 1) Download all files ...

Re: Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

Thanks Kevin. Yes, I am referring to MODS. I may be making this more complicated than it needs to be. What I wanted to avoid was: [Backup site] -> [Take down site while adding MOD] -> [Upload files and DB] -> [Open site] What I think you are saying is ok to do is: [Backup site] -> [Leave site active...

Merging Databases to Avoid Taking Down Forum?

I wanted to add some modifications to a forum but didn't want to take it down for an extended period of time. I was wondering if a way to do this would be to merge the modded database with the latest unmodded db to update it for the modifications but to preserve any new content since I began adding ...

Re: [RC] Classifieds MOD 1.2.0

Has anyone managed to incorporate Country Flags User Edition with this mod? Specifically, I'm trying to get the member's flag to show like below in classifieds_single_body.html" <!-- IF LOCATION --><li>{L_LOCATION}: <!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->{FLAG_IMG} {LOCATION}<!-- ELSE -->{L_CL_LOCATION_GU...
