Re: Copying UCP profile tab

I got my code from the second post in this topic https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1757125 So I'm using includes/ucp/info/ucp_main.php 'car12_tab' => array('title' => 'Edit first/second Car Details', 'auth' => '', 'cat' => array('UCP_MAIN')), and includes/ucp/ucp_main.php break; c...

Copying UCP profile tab

Hi folks We've got a shed load of CPF's and as such, I'm looking to separate these into category pages (we're a car forum, and users can enter details for up to four cars, with six details for each). I'm hoping to work on the information contained in this post to achieve this However, to begin with,...

Re: Administer user from Memberlist

Thanks for the link! It might be a little more than I need, as just a link by each username in the Memberlist to take me directly to ACP would be enough, but I'll certainly have a look at this! :mrgreen:

Re: How to Separate Custom Profile Fields in UCP & Profile View

Assuming you mean separating the standard profile fields from the custom fields in the UCP? If so, I'd love a way to do this too! We have a lot of CPF's, and it would be great if there was a way to have individual UCP modules to edit them, maybe even having half in one, the rest in another. I've tri...

Re: Administer user from Memberlist

:shock:

Well, if you don't know, then I think my chances are limited!

I can work it so that only Admin see the link, but can't get it to actually do what I want it to!

Re: Administer user from Memberlist

Yup, got that element working fine in the Member Profile linked to the profile in the ACP! :)

Just still head-scratching to get a link for each user from the memberlist to their ACP profile :(

Re: Administer user from Memberlist

For anyone that is interested, I've sorted the latter part of this easily and neatly enough! In styles/prosilver/memberlist_view.html, after <!-- IF U_USER_ADMIN --> [ <a href="{U_USER_ADMIN}">{L_USER_ADMIN}</a> ]<!-- ENDIF --> I've added <!-- IF U_USER_ADMIN --> [ <a href="{U_USER_ADMIN_PROF}">{L_U...

Administer user from Memberlist

I've searched the forums and Googled too, finding nothing, so apologies if this has been covered before, but is there a mod to allow a link in the memberlist to go directly to Administer User (as per the link in a User Profile)? Also, when going to "User administration" in the ACP from this link, is...

I've been trying to add modules and keep coming across this link, but it's not working? :(

Is this perhaps linked to the recent forum outage?

Hells teeth! Sounds a bit drastic!

Assume you have backups? I'll PM you with who we use as hosts, just in case mentioning it here on the forum is transgressing any rules! :mrgreen:

Re: Hide members with blank CPF from memberlist? [SOLVED???]

I'd like to say thanks to Neil (Volksdevil) for starting this thread and sticking with it, and to ViolaF for taking hin to the right solution, as it's also helped me! We also have a car forum, and have a Custom Page containing CPFs of car data, a car image, and a "car bio". Getting that page working...

Re: Username Vs User ID on memberlist_view/profile

Hi RIch, Thanks for getting back on this $username = request_var('un', '', true); is a PHP variable you are calling a template variable so how is the template variable being set? In all honesty, I can't remember! :oops: I've come up with a workaround now though, as it turns out that only one of our ...

Re: Function to check if a user is online

That's awful all over Well, that's told me then! :D I hold my hands up to being an enthusiastic amateur, but although I am clearly far from proficient/efficient in my use of code, I am at least trying to learn and will take this "F minus - must try harder" on the chin. That's the second time in two...

Re: Username Vs User ID on memberlist_view/profile

I've got it in my memberlist.php // Grab data $username = request_var('un', '', true); with a fair number of other occurrences of $username , enough in fact to make me think that surely I can't have added them all, although I do admit the memberlist.php has quite a lot of alterations! TBH, although ...
