Re: Username Vs User ID on memberlist_view/profile

Hi Rich In memberlist_view, we're using <a href="memberlist.php?mode=testprofile&un={USERNAME}" class = "button1" onmouseover="mOver3(this)" onmouseout="mOut3(this)" title="Click here to see the car profile for {USERNAME}">Go to Car Profile</a> to get to the extra profile page Apologies as to the fa...

Re: Function to check if a user is online

In case this helps anyone else, I've fathomed out what I needed to do! (sure it's not that complex, but it's taken me a while..... :( ) Basically in the php I've changed print( getOnlineStatus( 2 )? 'online': 'offline' ); to $template->assign_var('ADMIN_STAT_J', getOnlineStatus( 2 )? 'online': 'offl...

I'm sure I should, but unfortunately it doesn't work at all with username_clean! :(

Re: Username Vs User ID on memberlist_view/profile

In the hope that some might be reading this and may have some sage advice, would it be possible to use something along the lines of <!-- IF ($user->data['user_id'] == 921) --> <dd><a href="memberlist.php?mode=testprofile&un=Tom %26 Jerry" class = "button1" " title="Click here to see the extra profil...

Re: Function to check if a user is online

Very old thread revival, for which apologies, but this looks to be what I've been searching for! We have a completely individual Team Page which is basically a custom page not linked to the memberlist at all. I'm looking for a way to show which, if any, of the three Admin members are online, and thi...

Username Vs User ID on memberlist_view/profile

Hi folks We've got a modified version of the user profile form, from which we've got a button to link to an extra profile page, which itself holds a number of Custom Profile fields The button link is done via href="memberlist.php?mode=testprofile&un={USERNAME}" This works a treat, except when there'...

Submitting a UCP form without leaving UCP

Hi folks I'm working on a custom page which holds some elements of user's Custom Profiles, specifically details of their car(s), a photo of said car(s) and a small bio Have no problem with the fields, and the photo one is working fine, so long as people remember to use the correct [img] codes What I...

Re: User reactivate account email

That makes sense! However, changes were taking place on the original template in "real time" as I was making them and then forcing reactivation, receiving the email etc, but then it switched to the other email template (ie it was sending user_reactivate_account.txt as it should have been but then sw...

User reactivate account email

Hi folks I've been editing the email that users should get when an Admin chooses "Force reactivation" on their account. Testing this using a dummy account, oddly I found that after about 5 tests, the new text wasn't appearing, in fact turned out that rather than sending the user_reactivate_account.t...

Re: Users who activate but don't log in!

Sorted!

I found the relevant file which is

includes/ucp/ucp_activate.php

On line 142 in our version is

Code: Select all

meta_refresh(3, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}index.$phpEx"));
Changed the refresh from 3 to 15 which is long enough for folks to read the amended message!

No worries! You've given me enough to go on, so there's a chance I might sort this myself! :)

Re: Users who activate but don't log in!

Hi Kev Thing is, they are already on the forum, to have got as far as activating their account (ie, the email hasn't gone to junk) - what they are doing is clicking the activation link but not getting as far as actually logging in! I do think that this could be a goer mind.... You could simpl...
