Re: Google Chrome -> Impossible to set permissions

I am not sure as I haven't experienced this myself. I just forwarded the "bug report". I will try to come up with more info and post back.

Re: Admin problems, strange symbols - and more, please help!

I am using notepad++. Every text editor will probably have the ability to change what format you use to encode files in. Most of them will probably use ANSI as standard. If the symbols show up on text you type in a forum it is probably a wrong setting in your database. Log in to MySQL and make sure ...

Re: Admin problems, strange symbols - and more, please help!

I recently had those symbols on a fresh install. Turned out I had forgot to set my newly installed editor to use "UTF-8 (no BOM)" ;)

Google Chrome -> Impossible to set permissions

One of our users at the Stargate Portal Dev Site informed us he had trouble setting permissions with his new install and wanted to know if we knew of any conflicts between phpBB and Stargate Portal. After trying a different browser it turned out that Google Chrome was the cause. While viewing your s...

Re: AutoMod and phpBB 3.0.6

I wish I would have waited 30 minutes before uninstalling Firefox 3.5.3 and installing 3.0.14 :p I guess I will be moving back to 3.5.3. Thanks for taking time to investigate this issue for me. Mystery solved, now we just need the problem to be solved aswell ^^. I will be keeping an eye on the comme...

Re: AutoMod and phpBB 3.0.6

I will see if I can get access to another computer and try it out with Firefox 3.0.x instead of 3.5.x and see if anything is different.

If this is indeed a browser problem caused by Firefox since 3.5.x do you have any suggestions how I would go about reporting it as a bug?

Re: AutoMod and phpBB 3.0.6

I experienced this issue with both RC1 and RC2. I am using RC2 now though.

But as I mentioned earlier there appears to be issues even in phpBB 3.0.5 (the slider issue) as seen in the pictures.

Re: AutoMod and phpBB 3.0.6

Thanks for your reply A_Jelly_Doughnut. I am using Firefox 3.5.3. Is there anything I can do to provide a more extensive test? Certain software to use or something? Since the missing content gets hidden behind the ACP background perhaps it's a styling issue brought on by phpBB and not AutoMod itself...

AutoMod and phpBB 3.0.6

Hi. First of all I apologize if this isn't the proper place to post. I have a little problem with AutoMod while using it to test stuff on the new 3.0.6 version of phpBB. I have AutoMod set to review changes before installation but my problem is that it doesn't let me view the entire list of changes ...

Re: [DEV] phpBB3 AJAX IM

Great work so far. I have 1 question before I go ahead and install this mod. In the download package there is only files for prosilver. Does the mod support subsilver2 based styles yet? If so, is it as simple as doing the same install for subsilver2 based themes as for prosilver as mentioned in the ...

Re: [RC] phpBB Arcade 1.0.RC8

Hi. I have successfully installed this mod on a local test site and it all seems to work fine. However after installing this on my live site I keep getting a blank page when I try to add a game that I uploaded manually (for some reason I can't use upload/unpack, I think my host is to blame). If I go...

Re: [RC] phpBB Arcade 1.0.RC8

Okay, I have added all the correct files and everything using automod and when i go to yoursite.com/install/index.php it gives me the error stating : You are not authorized to use this script. Please note to use the script the following requirements must be met. First you must be logged in to the s...
