Could you post your cookie domain and path for us, as 97% of the time that's the problem. That even happened to me, hehe. Once we get that, we can check to make sure what's going on to isolate the problem.

Yes, I must say, I do notice a slight improvement in the speed and overall performance in the board. You are right, our users do catch on quick, since there is such a large user-base. I'll keep testing it, but seems ok to me and it's not logging me out or anything. WOOT!! :)

I would use MySql. It's amazingly fast, and I personally feel it is the best. Try it, you'll be amazed. It really rocks man!

Yea, those free MySql sites are very slow, and sometimes unreachable. :( I would go with a paid host if you have the money. :)

No problem. I only suggested that becuase I, myself, did that too. I had a corrupted .htaccess file in there and so it didn't work. I'm glad I could help you. :)

I would recommend it for a Newbie or an experienced guy. It's easy installation with FEATURES! It has great features that everyone will use. :)

Yes, with some permissions, people with SSH can see you file, but not edit it. Other than that, it's pretty secure.

I think it would be ok for 30 members. PhpBB always have at least 20-30 people on and sometimes has a hundred. I think you could do it. :)

Try doing http://127.0.0.1/phpbb . Also, you might have more luck having it on a real server, not a test server. I sometimes have problems with cookies too on my personal windows computer, so you might want to try it on a site.
