Re: SkyLine

Will this version 3.0.6 work with version 3.0.7 of phpBB? There were some problems: I'm curious about whether or not this will work with 3.0.7 also. I've got skyline blue installed w/the latest phpbb3 update and I'm having trouble with the polls. Could it be a compatibility issue? Thanks! Yes, it w...

Re: Automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST)

I thought you would like to know that I also raised the issue with Alightner, author of the "[Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.0 (alightner)" Mod who pointed me in the direction of a potential solution that you had come up with previously here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=666195&sta...

Re: Automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST)

For a Calendar event posted before the spring change in daylight saving time, but scheduled to occur after it, the time that is set by the person posting is displayed as starting and finishing one hour later than they intended. My guess is that once (in my case) we are into British Summer Time the ...

This is difficult to achieve without using table code (which one shouldn't do with proSilver) so I abstained from implementing it (and still do).

Same as above, only change:

Code: Select all

set_config('milestone_tid', 2);
set_config('milestone_tuser', 'Rich');
set_config('milestone_tcolour', 'AA0000');
set_config('milestone_topics', 1);
set_config('milestone_tgoal', 100);

Yes, that is correct.

Re: Automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST)

I do have a problem using date() string "g:i a T" where the "T" is for timezone name. My timezone is set to "America/New_York" but the display says "GMT" instead of "EST". The time itself is correct local time but the timezone name is always "GMT". Anyway to make it show what the user's timezone na...

Re: SQL Error: Duplicate entry for key 1 (viewtopic.php)

Thank you, MartectX! You saved me some time. It's good to know how to suppress SQL error messages in phpBB. Have a nice Sunday Wolfgang You're welcome, Wolfgang. But what's disconcerting is that the problem has proven to be a very real one and not just connected to a faulty installation / modificat...

Re: SQL Error: Duplicate entry for key 1 (viewtopic.php)

Do you have Anti Double Post MOD installed, too? No, I do not. I disabled errors altogether in the two instances this kept happening and kept happening and kept happening (via $db->sql_return_on_error(true);). Does that mean, the affected users do not see these error messages anymore? And could you...

Re: Automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST)

Did you change your timezone in the UCP? I thought the purpose of this MOD was to automatically get the timezone. (I don't know if that is possible in PHP). No, the purpose of this MOD is to automatically determine the correct DST settings for each timezone (which has to be selected in the UCP / AC...

Did you change your timezone in the UCP? Did you use AutoMOD to install Automatic Daylight Savings Time?
