Re: Getting Started

You don't need to worry about any of that. Just find a host that meets the requirements to run phpBB - https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... uirements/

Re: registered user appears as guest

You have apparently upgraded your board to 3.2.2 and it now resides in a subfolder /phpBB1 at the domain www.clicks4you.nl . There is another board with the same header but different statistics at www.clicks4you.nl/phpBB3 . Care to share with us what is going on?

Re: Issue upgrading 3.1.10 to 3.2.2

Welcome to the phpBB Support Forum!

Please try your upgrade again, following this method - https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... upgrade31/

But first, if your config.php file contains the string mysql, change it to mysqli.

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_styles SET style_active = 0 WHERE style_name != 'prosilver'
To do step 4 via phpMyAdmin:

Re: Reject Spam Registrations

There really should be a sticky on this since about every other day someone asks this very question. Like this? - https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=466&t=2371051 Admittedly it is in a now archived forum, but it is in the process of being expanded, updated and moved. And to the OP - th...

Re: 3.2.1 running under php version 7.2

If you backup, it is impossible to lose any data or images. If you have custom colors for your style, you will have to redo those, and in any event style versions must match phpBB versions so you cannot use an older version style anyway. Re: Inactive users continue to receive board notifications

Well, this is a kludge, but if you cannot otherwise solve the issue:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_notify = 0 WHERE user_type = 1

I get Error code: 35(SSL connect error) on the https: url. The Http: url does not seem to be setting cookies. Can you post your cookie settings and your .htaccess file?
