Not a problem in trying it out, it seems to have advanced to incorporate some of the features I originally requested, so why not, in for a penny in for a pound as one says :) I've saved the output code from todays digest (see end of message) and editing this to make the quotes match does not resolve...

Indemnity_83, it's been a whiel since I looked at the digests MOD but have just had time to upgrde to the new beta. All looks to be running well except the system is insisting on using the supplied SubBlue theme colouration. I've now edited the style form in the file to run with SubIce and will see ...

Cheers, so far so good I'll report after the nightly run tonight and see if it goes ok ;-)

Now in and working without problems - weird. I did only change the mail_digest.php file over though, should this be enough or should other aspects of the MOD be upgraded too?

Discovered a bug today in mail_digests.php. One of my users was getting posts all the way back to november, which made for a very large digest. It ended up that the piece of code that figures out the from date for the digests didn't take into consideration and prior digests if the user selected to ...

The style was implemented by replacing the entire style section and adding it the extra pieces you had in subsilver for the table generation. The OVERRIDE_STYLE setting was left as false in the constants. Do you wish to see a copy of the entire file? I'm afraid I get BBCodes in there everywhere, but...

http://www.tekguru.co.uk/news/digest_links.jpg Well all is working well now except: - Since installing the FiSubIce style I've lost the borders around the tables. How does one go about getting them back? - I think work is needed on links in posts so that they are actually converted to HTML clickabl...

Things I'd like to address with this MOD (or variants of) in the future are: - Inclusion of pictures used in posts. The Smartor Portal (which a lot of us use) can show these so it should not be impossible. - For those people who use Portals and the CMX News MOD (as on TG) create a variant which will...

Not a problem, I understand completely. ;-) For testing is there any way of displaying the digest output locally in a web browser without having to rely on a digest being sent out? If I can achieve that somehow I will start work on trying to include graphics in the template. Needless to say no compl...

I found the error, Thanks tekguru for your help. It was a really stupid mistake that qute frankely shocks me that It didn't cause any errors during all my testing. I had a second loop inside the main loop that used the same incrementer ($i). The really dumb thing is that I dont need the incrimenter...

Just installed the new version of the MOD, two problems: 1) I decided to run the digest_tables.php file again to reinitialise the tables, and this failed because there was no drop in there (to remove the tables if they already existed) and it also still includes the line: include($phpbb_root_path . ...
