Archiving/Closing down board

Is there any way I can archive my board (Take it offline/down) and still have all the posts readable/viewable on my PC somehow? Or maybe there's a better way that I'm missing? My site is coming to an end and I want to take it offline so I'm not having the upkeep (Hosting etc) but I still want to kee...

Re: When will 3.2.10 be ready?

Well, I'm not the type of guy to buy a house and leave it alone if you know what I mean. I make it my own, as I'm sure thousands of other phpBB board owners do ;) But yes, it doesn't diminish the fact that following the instructions perfectly regards the automatic update, results in a broken ACP upd...

Re: When will 3.2.10 be ready?

When many are falling at the very first hurdle (Incorrect upgrade link in the ACP!), then it does give the impression that maybe it was rushed a little.

Re: How important is user friendly (human readable) URL for SEO?

I have to agree that there's something that (At least wordpress) is doing a hell of a lot better than phpBB regards SEO. I set up a WP site for the first time a couple years back just to use up a spare domain name, I posted exactly the same things I posted on my board and the results in searches jus...

Revisiting this because things certainly haven't improved. Feel like just deleting the lot! Massive! amounts of information and statistics...There just doesn't seem to be any interest in collated information anymore. Throw away society. Everybody wants to: Ask a question. Get it answered. Re: [Alpha] Quick Mod Top

I'm afraid not, I'm sorry but I stopped learning extension writing as I didn't have the time to carry on.

But I believe it may still work OK on 3.2, obviously this was never released though so as usual, please be careful etc.

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2 Rhea Feature Release Published

@Volksdevil A lot can be done yes, but it's not necessarily the main goal of the current contributors. But if it is yours, feel free to contribute, all contributions are welcome. About 3.2, you can try to update most extensions (and your custom pages) should still work. You may have a few small vis...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2 Rhea Feature Release Published

I think phpBB still has a hell of a lot of room for performance improvements... I'm kinda peeved that we are jumping to a new 'upgrade' rather than 'update' after all the work I've done to get it working as quickly as possible. All that will more than likely be lost with the upgrade. (I'm talking se...

Yep, doing exactly that. Cheers. Just that I've seen some say the 'add constraints' needs to be checked for an exact duplicate.

Re: moving from 3.1.10 - 3.2

I think the OP means he is getting the 'loop' when he goes to the update link in the ACP, so he's then going to the update link manually and getting error500.

That's how I read it anyway.

Copying/Duplicating the database via phpMyAdmin

EDIT: Apologies, this should be in the 3.1.x section...

If I want to do as titled, what are the exact correct options here?

I'm reading conflicting views on the 'Add constraints' option...

Re: Rolling back to 3.1.10

Cheers for that, that's something to keep in mind. In this instance I want to properly roll back so that I can try to upgrade again at a later stage, the board is currently live but it's just for testing.

Re: Rolling back to 3.1.10

Thank you Steve, exactly what I was looking for. Will try that now and update/edit with how it goes. EDIT: Done successfully. :) ... PS: Steve, I was going to post here https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=556&t=2400056 to update that I was rolling back, and would come back to that to...
