phpBB RC2 is the same board as this one with the exception that this one is running on CVS. It has some updated code that RC2 does not have.

In my opinion, can't beat it for $10 a month. My phpBB2 install is at http://mamosley.phpwebhosting.com ***waiting on netsol ...

Stickies, Announcements for split topics

Why isn't it possible to make a split topic sticky or an announcement? Just curious. I split a topic which I want people to see but it probably won't receive any replies due to the nature of the topic. I have auto-prune on so it will probably get deleted . . . Just cursious. :p

Vars for RC1 pre and etc

What are the variables for use in the templates? Also, what is the variable for getting the username of the poster? It used to be posterdata[username] but what is it now? I'm already working on a mod (formally known as hack) and I need the poster data variables. Hmm. This was shorter than I though i...

I would agree with your decision not to decrease the count due to pruning. I never turned on the rank system on my board since I was worried people would post just to increase their rank. Topher - Loving phpBB2.0, wondering if my users will be able to handle all the features :p I agree whole-hearte...

I say yes to all. However, maybe have on the side somewhere if at all possible, total count altogether as well. Say I made 100 posts and 2 of them were deleted either by me or an admin or pruning. I'd then have 98 posts but off to the side of it have out of 100 posts or something. Just a thought. If...
