Upgrading from 2.0.22 to 2.0.23

Post by wildcatforums » Tue Jun 10, 2008 5:37 pm

Hello,

I have phpbb version 2.0.22, and I need to upgrade to 2.0.23. How can I do that? I don't want PhpBB 3 "yet", but I want to upgrade version 2. Thanks.

Do you have any mods installed?

Download 2.0.23, unpack it and overwrite all files in your forum with the exception of config.php, then visit the install directory and run update_to_latest.php to update your board (eg http://www.yoursite.com/phpbb/install/u ... latest.php). Please make a backup of your forum files first though, just to be sure.
