phpBB tags not working after post

My users have starting seeing issues with the phpBB tags (B, i, code, img, etc). A post that is entered as this:

[b]bold test[/b]

It looks fine while typing the post and in the preview mode but the resulting post looks something like this:

Code: Select all

[b:5dc2826796]bold test[/b:5dc2826796]

Any insight on this problem? BTW, I am running the latest 2.0.x code and no new MODs were added when the problem started.

Found the problem. One of my mods had put quoted text in his signature. Not sure why this caused a problem, but removing it fixed the issue. Other users have confirmed this.
