Post by lixo » Tue Jul 08, 2003 12:47 pm

When i try do view my forums, index.php gives an error :
Could not query forums information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1030 Got error 127 from table handler

SELECT f.*, p.post_time, p.post_username, u.username, u.user_id FROM (( phpbb_forums f LEFT JOIN phpbb_posts p ON p.post_id = f.forum_last_post_id ) LEFT JOIN phpbb_users u ON u.user_id = p.poster_id ) ORDER BY f.cat_id, f.forum_order

Line : 165
File : e:\phpdev\www\public\phpbb2\index.php

The strange thing is that this was working fine yesterday.

Have you tried to install any mods before this happened?

Try to reinstall index.php and check for errors in the file if it does not work.

login to you db...select the tables that are mentioned in the error, or select all of them...and click on repair

Worked, forum is now working fine. Thanks.
Just another question , when a user was trying to change the font size, he got this strange error :

Could not obtain post/user information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1030 Got error 28 from table handler

SELECT u.username, u.user_id, p.*, pt.post_text, pt.post_subject, pt.bbcode_uid FROM phpbb_posts p, phpbb_users u, phpbb_posts_text pt WHERE p.topic_id = 2 AND p.poster_id = u.user_id AND p.post_id = pt.post_id ORDER BY p.post_time DESC LIMIT 15
Line : 114
File : e:\phpdev\www\public\phpbb2\includes\topic_review.php

Any idea ? Could it be also the same error ?
