Ditto. Often unrequired, and encourages people to be slacker and more ambigous with the topic title. :evil:

I still have problems to understand the Vbulletin icons. So many of them ... It always drives me nuts.

I despise posticons also. They just add clutter to the board without truly adding any usefull information. Bleah

Yes, there are no reason to just copy functions from other boards, just because THEY have them. vBullitin has many functions that actually makes things harder for the user. Not least the first time user :)

I think that the phpBB group thinks about this and makes a forum without to many unuseful functions :D

PostIcons aren't really necessary. Just put a smilie/y (what's right?) in the subject. Here you have the PostIcon *ggg*

But: @ devels you could add smilie/y encoding to the topic. Then there wouldn't be any request for PostIcons.
