Free MySQL hosting

Post by phpfreak »

Dose anybody know how I can get a fre MySQL host around here? I know their are alot out their, but I need your opinion on which one I should use. Spaceports provides a free MySQL, and the Lycos provides the free PHP service. Anybody know of any more good ones?

Depending on what your site is about, http://network.sector31.net offers some excellent hosting.

Well,

I find that Web Maxi is the FIRS host to actually host properly and effectively! I want to close this post please, because www.web-maxi.com is the answer!

OK - quick and simple. Don't use them. Suffice to say that I am still waiting for them to transfer back a domain that I own and it's been some time now. Oh, and the service is slow and "blocky" - sometimes it's up, sometimes it's down. :(
If this saves just ONE person from suffering like I have, I have done my job.

Yea, those free MySql sites are very slow, and sometimes unreachable. :( I would go with a paid host if you have the money. :)

Actually, Lycos is working again...

Post by phpfreak »

Lycos is up and running fine again, and I don't have any probs with em! They are FAST! Well, the best I have had was Lycos now, but WEB-MAXI.com SUCKS! You can see my site at: http://www.linkstudiosforums.cjb.net
