so confused about the mysql stuff and hosting stuff and decrompressing and just how to get alllll of those files on 1 little thing to make this big forum!

yea same deal but im on the yahoo small bussiness, im trying 2 install it but it says i do not have acess to view the page whe i follow the lil instructions after instaling the files on the server can u help? :lol:

1. You need a host that meets the requirements.
requirements
e.g. (free host): lycos.co.uk; please note that you "get what you pay for" with free hosts.
click here and scroll down for a list of sites with hosting related information

2. Download the 2.0.6 full package
3. Unzip it e.g. with winzip
4. Upload it to the server e.g. with www.smartftp.com
4. Run www.yourdomain.com/forum/install/install.php

lol a server is were the files of your site are stored! in your case they are stored on some geocities server, which limits you to certain things. :D

go here i have like the same geocities thing but a lil better, i get my own domain, www.what_ever_the_fuck_i_want_here.com and can upload more types of files then yuo can and have more storage :!:

found a free 1 that support it, jus make a frame in your site which takes them 2 this 1 http://www.spaceports.com/
