CREATE TABLE `black_posts` (

KEY `topic_id` (`topic_id`),
KEY `poster_id` (`poster_id`),
KEY `post_time` (`post_time`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=2047 DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

My highest post count in the black_posts table is 2046, it's set as that already. Please tell me you have another idea!!

No time right now, but...

Your original error message said that 2017 was a duplicate number in the posts_text table, which does not use an auto_increment column - phpBB uses the value found in the posts table. But, your last message said the auto_inc number was 2046, not 2017... Do you have the SAME number of records in posts as posts_text, and matching numbers throughout?

Let me have a look, it might not as I copied across the data from another database. Let me re-copy the data as of now and try the increment thing again.

Okay, I have recopied all the data and I have 2150 in the post_id.

Just tested it AND IT WORKS!! I can post woohoo!! No idea what happened, maybe it';s because I didn't copy them both over at the same time.

I love all you people who helped, I feel WONDERFUL!!!
