What am i doing wrong??

Post by ffmd3 »

I've downloaded, extracted and uploaded all the files to a angelfire web host filemanger. But when i visit the install.php it either comes up with a load of text or asks if i want to download the file. I'm not sure if i have or haven't properly installed php yet though. Could anyone maybe give me a screenshot of what the install page looks like or maybe someone has any tips??

well i've tryed a few other .php files and they end up with the same result. Does ntlword or IE support php? Or does it depend on something else?

Angelfire does not support .php files period, you can't use them on it at all. It doesn't matter what your browser is, as all browsers can display the content of php files, otherwise, if you were using IE, you wouldn't have been able to see this page.

You'll have to get yourself another host that does support php scripts - where decent ones are not very common; you get what you pay for.
